After a business meeting in Cheyanne a couple of weeks ago, I decided to stop in an antique store before returning, and I hit the jackpot with a whole stack of books (yeah, I am one of those people). I value knowledge and historical information more than any monetary value these books may hold.
How cool is it to read about our nation's history from a "History of the United States 1763-1861" book published back in 1896??
And take a look at some of the pages from a "Pit and Quarry Handbook" from back in 1928!
It fascinates me to see how things were done or viewed from perspectives a century ago and how much has changed (or not) in 100 years.
